The screen shot below is from an application which records events and real time environmental and Partial Discharge data and provides user's with trends and two and 3 dimensional charts of the data. The application communicates using a proprietary protocol using TCP/IP for transmission of data from a data acquisition unit.

The screenshot below is captured from Internet Explorer for Windows CE. Windows CE 3.0 provides no support for Java or ActiveX and having pages update with real time process / fire system / gas detection data is no small feat. We managed to avoid refreshing pages from the server and used a trick to have cookies deliver the payload between the server and the user's environment.
